About us
Built with all our might
Based in Ayrshire. Building across Scotland.
Zlak Construction is a Kilmarnock-based building company led by Arturs Zlakomanovs.
With over 10 years in the construction industry, Arturs started out in timber framing, and that precision is still at the heart of everything we build. Since setting up Zlak Construction in 2022, the work has grown to cover the whole build: extensions, loft conversions, new builds, kitchens, bathrooms, saunas, roofing and all joinery.
We are based in Ayrshire but happy to travel. Recent projects range from family homes across Ayrshire to a full commercial fit-out for a new wellness club in Glasgow.
“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might.”Ecclesiastes 9:10
That verse is the standard we hold ourselves to on every job, big or small.
What we stand for
How we work with you
Do it properly
The parts you never see, like framing, insulation and waterproofing, get the same care as the finish. That is what makes a build last.

Clear quotes, honest advice on what is worth doing, and regular updates while we are on site. No surprises.
One team
Groundworks to joinery, structure to finishing. You deal with one company from the first visit to the handover.
